Start with the product and campaign
A generic plinth may hold the item without expressing the idea behind the launch. Begin with what the customer should notice: the shape, colour, material or relationship between a group of products.
DEC’s custom display concept includes moulded fibreglass forms and modular sets for footwear, handbags, accessories, beauty, technology and window campaigns. Each project needs a brief and feasibility discussion before manufacture is agreed.
Think beyond the first arrangement
A modular or reconfigurable set can be planned around several layouts rather than a single opening-day composition. Discuss how the forms will be moved, stored and refreshed between campaigns.
Include the product sizes and weights, available floor or window space, preferred finish and any handling requirements. These details help the team judge how the display needs to function as well as how it should look.
Send a useful development brief
Share product photographs, dimensions, a reference for the campaign direction, quantities and the date the display is needed. Explain whether the forms will be used in one location or across a network of stores.
The team can then discuss a development approach and a project quotation. Browse the existing torso and display-form range too: an established form may already provide a practical starting point for the requirement.
